Finance Manager, Germany

With a strong network of partners and our own offices, we ensure a seamless and cost-efficient transport process. To fuel our growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our team and support us on this exciting journey.

In this position, you will take on the following tasks:

  • Prepare and take responsibility for the financial reporting according to IFRS and German Local GAAP.
  • Continuously analyze financials and independently identify relevant drivers as well as financial optimization potential (e.g. business management evaluations).
  • Actively represent finance interests in the local management team and towards the headquarters.
  • Focus on the development of accounting quality, ensuring reliable internal control systems, and supporting external and internal auditors.
  • Prepare ongoing financial reports, including budgets and rolling forecasts (RFC).
  • As a broadly experienced accounting expert, you strengthen the development of the accountant in your team and flexibly support with your hands-on mentality (e.g. in case of absence).
  • Oversee external tax consulting and payroll services.

What should you bring?

  • A degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification (e.g. certified accountant).
  • A minimum of 3 years of qualified work experience.
  • Ideally, experience in freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP FC and DATEV.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • An independent and structured working style, with the ability to understand complex contexts.
  • Strong social skills and reliable nature.
