We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with 7 – 9 years of experience to join us as an Assistant Manager, Operations in our KL Sentral office, Malaysia.
This role supports the delivery of professional, high-quality service across the customer journey — before, during, and after their needs are met. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and ensuring that internal procedures are followed to enhance responsiveness to customer requirements while aligning with commercial objectives. You will be expected to demonstrate genuine care for our customers by actively listening, addressing inquiries, and delivering effective solutions. The ultimate goal is to build long-term customer relationships through consistent service quality, competitive pricing, and clear value differentiation.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high customer retention through proactive communication.
- Coordinate and manage customer shipments, ensuring smooth freight flow and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and respond to customer complaints, identify trends, and take corrective actions.
- Accurately document customer interactions and ensure timely data entry and record-keeping.
- Support business development and collaborate with internal and overseas teams on SOPs, quotations, and logistics solutions.
- Review and optimize workflows, costs, and carrier performance for operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
- Assist in preparing customer reports, marketing materials, and contribute to product campaigns and events.
